CESVIMAP Worldwide
The very existence of CESVIMAP (created in 1983) has been a positive point in favour of the vehicle repair and insurance sectors in Spain, leading MAPFRE to decide to set up vehicle repair research centres in countries where such a presence would be of significant help for insurance companies and for the after-sales and repair sector.
To date, this wish to provide information has had very concrete results in the development and creation of CESVI BRASIL (1996), CESVI ARGENTINA (1996), CESVI MÉXICO (1998), CESVI FRANCE (1999) and CESVI COLOMBIA (1999).
Within this field, CESVIMAP has the following functions:
-
Assessment in the development and creation of new centres.
-
Coordination of activities between these centres.
-
Development and encouragement of technical exchanges, or of joint studies of common problem areas.
Furthermore, CESVIMAP is a member of R.C.A.R.(Research Council for Automobile Repairs), an international body giving help and advice to the twenty-four centres in seventeen countries with whom it shares its main aim: to carry out research into the repairability of automobiles.
